because i love it

call me crazy, but i love my iphone. call me crazy, but i love organizing things by color. my bookshelves, my closet, my mac book pro desk top applications (thanks rob) - everything you can imagine, i love to organize... especially by color. why not my iphone? i knew it was going to be a challenge. in fact, i went through several iterations of adding and deleting apps. but i made it here and i am happy. i know you love it too.

i might just love really good design. you could say i have a strong desire to fill my home with wonderfully designed accessories, furniture, books, etc etc and normann copenhagen is full of wonderfully design surprises around every corner. not to mention they have a killer website that which is really exciting for a little web producer like me. maintaining a healthy website on a day to day basis is a tricky challenge. it�s hard to keep it going when your audience base consists of some random tweeters, a handful of co-workers, and one obsessive mother. yes mom, you are. it�s also difficult if you, like me, suffer from the �what the hell is the point of this site� problem. you see, this really isnt a blog, in the traditional sense. it�s just my thoughts. and since im not really anyone, what the hell is the reason for being here? i've spent many grueling hours trying to figure it out.

it�s july 1st 2008 and that really only means one things for me... a fresh restart, a new month, a new chance to screw things up and a new time to make things right. a month is a long very short time and at the beginning of each month i like to do two things: 1. get started on minilutions for a better aqm and 2. read last month�s horoscope to see how reality fared against speculation.

it�s wonderful how i can walk the same streets day in and day out and still find something new each time i come across another block, another street lamp, and another store front. it�s amazing how our lives are filled with millions of little details. it has become a personal mission statement each day to uncover as many of these hidden gems that unintentionally color my life. details, often overlooked and dismissed.

just when i thought dubai couldn�t be any cooler, i get a link from my odopod cronies about this new rotating building on set to be complete some time in 2010. remember when 2010 seemed like a crazy distant future world in the 80�s? Well apparently that is exactly what it�s looking like in dubai in a very short 2 years away. come on america, catch up already!

i have a hidden delight for airports. before 911, i would say that airports were my favorites places to go. if you�ve ever taken a moment to people watch for any period of time in an airport years ago, you would have seen every emotion imaginable. departing loved ones, arriving loved ones, hellos, goodbyes, kisses, magic, wear and tear from distant travels, possibility.... everything happens in an airport.

I do not update on the weekends because I live in san francisco and living in san francisco means that there is a ridiculous amount of activities of which to participate at any given time. some are planned. some are weekend staples (movie night for example), and some are just a matter of doing what i feel. and this weekend is a special treat because the weather is rather unreal...which could be a bad thing

i�ll let you in on a little insight into my life. i like to develop these random experiments and test results. i�ve even purchased randomexperiments.com. most recently, i�ve indulged in this behavior by conducting my own little home remedy experiment. after stumbling upon a long list of ridiculous remedies, my curiosity took hold. one of these alleged remedies caught my eye - honey clears blemishes!
